HR Specialist/Talent Acquisition

Humera is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional for our client, an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of specialized quick-disconnect couplings for the life sciences, industrial, and chemical handling markets. Our client is part of a worldwide global manufacturing company, and is based in Roseville, MN. This is a long-term contract opportunity for 6 months with potential for conversion, as they are seeing exponential and continuous growth. This role will start (training) fully on-site in Roseville, MN. A hybrid schedule may be earned after fully trained/onboarded.

Duties

Talent Acquisition Support:

  • Applicant sourcing and initial vetting through testing/screening and interviewing processes
  • Creates and maintains job postings to identify and attract skilled candidates
HR Administrative Support:
  • Provides administrative organization and structure to the HR department including scheduling, coordination and communication related to schedules
  • Schedules and coordinates candidate interviews
  • Data management and record keeping; HRIS, electronic files, databases
  • Maintains records and compiles reports
  • Provides general administrative support to the HR department
Compliance and Other Duties:
  • Ensures record keeping is in compliance with applicable laws and audit guidelines
  • Adheres to all safety regulations
  • Demonstrates support of core values
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience in HR/Talent Acquisition
  • A minimum of three (3) years of administrative support experience
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS software (SuccessFactors a plus)
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, with ability to create reports in MS Excel and other formats
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information
  • Must be detail oriented, focused on accuracy, organized and deadline driven
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and requirements pertaining to human resources activities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Administrative support experience within an HR department
  • Electronic documents retention system experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and requirements pertaining to human resources activities
  • Experience interviewing mid to senior level applicants/candidates
  • Strategic sourcing practices

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (may be flexible after training, but requires 1st shift)
