Our partner is seeking a seasoned HR professional to contract for a leading health plan provider in MN as a senior level HRBP (estimated 4 months). This role collaborates with the executive leadership team in developing, managing, implementing and integrating HR program and guidelines to support business objectives primarily in the Operations Division. The position focuses on leading department leadership and talent development and advises management on ways to address structural, cultural, and people initiatives that are aligned with the business and drive success.
This is a contract opportunity. The position is hybrid; reporting on site to the main campus 50% of the week (Only local candidates will be considered at this time).
Job Duties:
Pro-actively drives client business strategy and objectives into goals, plans and tactics that align with client’s business objectives.
Provide process and guidance to business units on talent identification, high potential readiness and developing a culture of talent developments.
Establish development requirements for business units that identify and plan for future organizational capability that maximizes all aspects of diversity.
Develop and leverage appropriate HR metrics to drive business execution. Integrate and apply HR tools to specific business initiatives.
Provide enterprise perspective through system and strategic thinking and thought leadership.
Coach executives and business leadership team to address and resolve employee issues.
Provide day-to day performance management guidance (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions).
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues by conducting thorough and objective investigations, analyzing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Partners with HR centers of excellence to build management capability to develop individuals and teams and facilitate an inclusive environment that reflects company values.
Leverage strong business acumen to influencing business decisions and leaders.
Partner with business leaders to create Communication Plans for organizational changes and development.
Lead and executive organization design, restructuring, and change management.
Required Skills/Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in HR professional; including 3 years of experience in a Senior HRBP role
Demonstrated competency in: System & Strategic Thinking, Thought Leadership, Workforce Planning, Change Management, Communication, Analytical Thinking, Coaching & Consulting, Foundation Knowledge, Organizational Understanding, Project Management
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Master’s degree & PHR/SPHR strongly preferred
Insurance company or healthcare experience
Previous OD experience highly desirable
