Humera has a position available for a Correspondence Coordinator with our client, a major health care provider in Minnetonka. The ideal candidate has basic healthcare knowledge, great organizational skills, can take direction well and is self-motivated. The Correspondence Coordinator is responsible for transcribing, creating and documenting all written correspondence within the Utilization Management Department. The main element of this position is to ensure that the Correspondence Coordinator accurately prepares and completes all necessary written notification letter correspondence in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
This is a contract opportunity for 6+ months with potential for extension into 2022. The role starts working remotely, but may transition to hybride or on-site schedule once the Minnetonka campus re-opens (date TBD).
The Correspondence Coordinator will work directly with the clinical
team to ensure written correspondence is accurately transcribed and
composed using member friendly rationale and terminology. The
Correspondence Coordinator uses knowledge of product information,
Utilization Management processes and policies to accurately assist
with potential provider and member questions. This position
requires that the individual be able to apply excellent verbal and
written communication skills, interpret and summarize medical
language, and prioritize the responsibilities to meet regulatory
turnaround time on a daily basis.
