Order Entry Account Representative

Bloomington, MN

Humera is seeking a Customer Service representative for our client in Bloomington, MN. This is a great opportunity with a company that has deep Minnesota roots and an international presence.   • Act as principal inside contact for assigned customers by ensuring they receive the best service possible through processing orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating with other departments as required
  • Enter data for new orders, make changes to existing orders and complete required order acknowledgement and customer correspondence in order entry system (most correspondence through electronic exchange/ roughly 20% via inbound and outbound calling)
  • Receive, analyze, and promptly reply to all pertinent communication regarding customer's request
  • Act as a customer contact regarding pricing, scheduling and shipping
  • Responsible for gathering information from internal experts about product capabilities relative to specific customer needs
  • Review and research customer inquiries, problems, requests and suggestions
  • Manage large key accounts and coordinate with applicable departments to update and maintain customer accounts, products, price lists, customer portals, etc
  • Responsible for answering non-routine questions that require deviation from standardized procedures
  • Investigates, analyzes and solves complex customer billing, technical and contract/PO issues


  • Must have excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills in order to interpret and understand multiple requests and requirements
  • Ability to easily adapt and learn new skills as part of on-going continuous improvement objectives
  • Requires good problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Preferred experience in Oracle and MS Office programs, such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to extract data, filter and sort spreadsheets
  • Experience with EDI and RLM preferred
  • Flexible and willing to contribute to team success
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized


Flexible between 7:00AM - 5:30PM
